Tungsten Carbide Exports Decreased by 98% in April 2025 49

In April 2025, China’s tungsten product exports totaled 1,383.17 tons, decreased by 25.81% year-on-year but increased by 68.33% month-on-month. Among these, exports of tungsten powder were 52.90 tons, decreased by 61.35% year-on-year; exports of ferrotungsten were 360.30 tons, increased by 69.67% year-on-year; exports of tungsten wire were 39.87 tons, increased by 39.87% year-on-year; exports of tungsten carbide were 8 tons, decreased by 97.78% year-on-year; and exports of ammonium metatungstate were 390.82 tons, increased by 165.49% year-on-year.

In April 2025, China’s tungsten product imports totaled 1,101.72 tons, decreased by 0.43% year-on-year and decreased by 0.68% month-on-month. Among these, imports of tungsten powder were 1,391 kg, decreased by 50.97% year-on-year; imports of tungsten wire were 477 kg, increased by 31.77% year-on-year; imports of tungsten carbide were 14.57 tons, increased by 33.48% year-on-year; imports of sodium tungstate were 144.32 tons, decreased by 37.96% year-on-year; and imports of tungsten trioxide were 20 kg, decreased by 44.44% year-on-year.
